01/13/12 My Group’s Bible Study on Friday Night! Sorry it took so long to post this one!!!

In Sabbath school on Saturdays we are currently studying about the baptism of the Holy Spirit, what His job is and how to recognize Him. Also, these studies show us WHY it’s important to be attending a church regularly.

I post this BECAUSE I worry about seeing, or NOT seeing, you in Heaven! I wish EVERYONE could be there, but it is OUR OWN CHOICE of whether we want to be there, or whether we’d rather not exist. Those are our only two options!

I know, because I have an Android. I found MANY versions of the Bible!
I personally like to use the King James Version because it is translated WORD for WORD.
I know others who use the American Standard Bible, English Standard Version and New King James Version. Any Protestant Bible should be okay. I ALWAYS compare every Bible I get to the King James Version - if any Bible I obtain contradicts the King James Version, I throw out the offending Bible version!
I would like to take the time to warn people AGAINST the “Clear Word Bible”. My mom sent me this Bible, thinking that it would open up my understanding, but I can plainly see that its good for a reference for people who already KNOW the Bible, but NOT for beginners! Yes, it is easier to understand, but this Bible is PARAPHRASED!! What does that mean?
The Dictionary States:
noun1. a restatement of a text or passage giving the meaning in another form, as for clearness; rewording.2. the act or process of restating or rewording.
The man who wrote the “Clear Word Bible” interpreted the Bible in his own way! This is a dangerous thing to do! There is only ONE interpretation of God’s Word and the only people who can help you with it are those who have the Holy Spirit in them and the Holy Spirit Himself!
I found one scripture that was wrong and I told other church members and they said they’ve found some too! Yes, you have to be that picky because one wrong interpretation VOIDS the ENTIRE Bible! It’s like finding sin in Jesus because the Bible IS Jesus, in words!! :O = D;
