My question was derived from your title "Gov’t Still Trying to Enforce SUNDAY worship ONLY!". The title indicates that one government to the reader. Also, as an American reader, it indicates the American government. So, I was expecting to find American instances of enforcement. Are there, or is it just in other countries? I just feel that the articles misrepresented the title. It should have read "Gov'ts Still Trying" or something to that effect. Thanks.

Actually I was referring to “Gov’t” as a general term. I’m sure you get the idea.

Just curious, but how is a South Pacific country's and Zurich's policy decisions an indication of American policies? I think America's proved themselves to march to their own beat and not go with the rest of the world (though, Tonga and Zurich are not in themselves representative of a world view either).

I’ve been copying and pasting article snippets from a source (that I will not reveal), but that’s on my site because it is an attack on the Biblical Sabbath. Nothing against anyone or anything else other than that reason.

I don’t believe that anything NECCESSARY should ever be banned on ANY day IF it can save a life. Yes, even the Bible Sabbath! I know that my Heavenly Father agrees because Jesus said, in Matthew 12:11:

“And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?”

And it’s not representative of a world view - yet! In this blog, by posting what I have posted, I am asking you to take notes of the Sunday Laws creeping into existence in ALL countries, right NOW so that you can carefully consider where we are in the Book of Revelations. This planet’s history is coming to a close, the Sunday Laws are a HUGE indicator. When the world declares Sunday as a “holy” day to worship God, and legislation is passed that those who refuse to worship “god” on that day, be killed - Probation closes for the ENTIRE world and Jesus comes quickly. But why wait until then to repent? Practice the Christian Life NOW and be ready for its coming so that you can be safe and can help others be ready.

You are twisting the concepts. There are VERY FEW exceptions to the things that you are describing above. You cannot ASK the person who created the name “Santa” for “St. Nicholas” their INTENTION or INSPIRATION BEHIND creating these names. Look up the word “idol”. It is a word of WORSHIP. When images or pictures are created (pictures, posters, wax/stone figures) that is an IMAGE.

Psalms 78:58 For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.

You don’t have to bow down to something for it to be an idol in your home. If you are afraid of losing something, then - to you, in your heart - it IS a “graven image”. And what did God want us to do to our “idols/graven images”?

Deuteronomy 7:5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.

Deuteronomy 7:25 The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therin: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.

Deuteronomy 12:3 And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.

Psalms 97:7 Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.

Of course this doesn’t apply to living beings that you are afraid to lose (children, spouse, siblings, parents, friends.. etc). But you shouldn’t hold ANYBODY above God in your heart or mind. As Psalms 78:58 says, God gets jealous, He may even CAUSE you to lose that person in order to order to bring you closer to Him and give you something/someone BETTER.

You are trying to find a way to make things “OK” to do - an excuse for being the way you want to be, just like SO MANY Christians in this world. The Lord God asks us to be a “peculiar people”, forsaking ALL things that will conform us to THIS world.

Exodus 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

Deuteronomy 14:2 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.

Deuteronomy 26:18 And the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;

Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

The gang sign is still bad to use. The only way not to be identified with that kind of group, is just to not do it. “Guilty by association”. Using THAT hand sign is associating yourself with them. Any person who is doing that sign “innocently”, when they figure out the meaning behind it, should STOP using it IF they love God. If you don’t, it’s your life - do whatever you want. I’m only informing you.

i noticed that u like to say that rearrangments of letters in a word make the word mean something else (satan = santa). is the same true of names we us. in the king arthur story, there was an evil sorceress named morgana. sorcerESS = quizardESS MoRGANA = MaRGANA? just curious. my name could be jumbled to be "evil", but i don't think i am.

Actually I named myself “Quizardess” for the words “Quiz” and “Wizard” meaning that I LOVE to play games with words…Scrabble, word finds/searches - (but I’m not very good at making new words up which is what I did with my second name…). “Margana” is the first three letters in my first name, and the last three letters in my middle name minus one ‘n’. Interestingly, I discovered that this name backwards spells “ANAGRAM”! I WAS SO SHOCKED and yet it fit SO perfectly because I had just discovered anagrams at the time! lol!

So my name was definetly NOT created from something evil - and NOT for something evil. (Don’t worry, I know you agree.)

My biggest problem with it, is that how can this ONE man (who happened to publish his book through a publishing agency and is part of the entertainment industry) manage to find out the supposed "truth" and no one else has? If he could do it, others would have. Further, how do we know that his testimony IS true? Finally, if supernatural beings who can control humans are actually doing so, why do they need a gang sign? If Satan is that powerful, he knows who's in. Too many things not adding up.

That’s why you’ve gotta read it. Read it and discuss it with me. I don’t know about the gang sign though… like the article said, one is to place a curse and the other is to recognize other members of the group. That’s the problem though, Satan is NOT powerful. Again, read that book - you’ll see what I mean. Satan is POWERLESS to harm us once we give ourselves over to Jesus. Again, read the book! I PROMISE that you’ll find it SOOOOOOO interesting!

My heart tells me that we can base nothing purely on one gesture but have to take into account surroundings, character, and the person's attitude - just like the meaning of words when one says them. If one person says "Sorry", it can mean exactly what is said. When another says the same word, it can be exactly the opposite. It's all about intention.

Believe me, I understand - very well - what you are saying. And I DO agree with most of what you are saying, but this book proves that there is demon worshipping going on throughout political and entertainment figures. The man who wrote this book actually spoke with these demons because he refused to join them. Humans were worshipping them for material gain and fame. This hand-sign being used between its members is a HUGE tell-tale sign of who is in on it! D;

I'm not sure it matters what he says about it. If I can find nothing on the so-called satanic nature of the symbol, even if he has photo and video evidence of what he calls a satanic cult using the symbol, if he or the cult members don't fully understand, then they both will misrepresent the symbol. I find it implausible that this man has the only truth, and my sources do not. What does the Bible say about intentions? 2 Corinthians 9:7 - it's all about the heart; (more)...

(Cont) If someone who claims to be a satanist is using it, they're more than likely ignorant of its original purpose or are using it as most who use it in present day. It's a lot like the scene in the Little Mermaid where the characters are attempting to figure out what a fork is. They are ignorant of its purpose and are doing it wrong. Others see the wrong way they are using it and take it as fact. Then you have a lot of people who believe that a sign that has nothing to do with Satan,does.

Even if one assigns importance to the original meaning of a symbol it word, it is infinitely more important to know what the person means by using it. To assume the original meaning is the current meaning, one might assume that the Nazis only meant good luck to the Jews. As that is NOT the representative as the Nazis used it, neither can the sign of the horns be assumed to be a pagan sign unless the person is actually meaning it as such. (more)
